Really great Mediterranean food! I took the wife and kids here for lunch one Saturday after a casual walk downtown. This is my favorite local place to get Greek food. We had some appetizers, including a cheese plate, dolmas, and of course humus. It was all fantastic. I highly recommend and will definitely go back.

I've been here many times and have always found the food excellent and the prices reasonable. The owner/chef seems to always be in the kitchen, which is probably why it is good and consistent. I also think the wine selection is good and reasonably priced especially compared to the other restaurants in Pleasanton.

Please eat there often. I would like to have a good reasonably priced restaurant in Pleasanton survive.

I've lived in Pleasanton for 18 years and frequent the downtown restaurants on a weekly basis.  I've been to Agora at least 6 times and have had nothing but fabulous experiences.  We've been with friends and all of the meals have been terrific.  The wait staff has been attentive without going overboard and each of us has really enjoyed our meals. Tonight I had the swordfish special and it was amazing.  The artichoke and tomato lemon sauce was perfect. My husband had the moussaka and thought it was great.  The wine selection is a good value for the dollar. I have no hesitation in recommending Agora to others. Enjoy your meal!

Have been to Agora's several times since it opened. My family had not been then in several months and decided to go last Saturday. The restaurant continues to deliver. The atmosphere was quite enjoyable and the food was very good, once again. My wife had the fish and I had the special - cornish game hens. Surprisingly, very good. The calamari is some of the best that I have tasted and the Baklava is always outstanding.

I will let you know if these guys falter...but after 6-12 months, they continue to impress.

What a wonderful surprise - the food is outstanding, the decor is charming, and the staff was great!

We have dined here at least three times in the past two weeks and now have a few favorites - you have to try the braised short ribs (great!); delicious Moussaka, great chicken kabobs...really, I highly recommend Agora and we hope to dine here often. A great place for a leisurely dinner with friends.
